LOL maybe tomorrow XD

I want to make a kind of simple Pixel Hunt/point and click in flash - (possibly for my graded unit that's coming soon, but i doubt it, i'm too lazy) i've looked at numerous tutorials over the years and I can't seem to grasp the actionscript....

I just need to know how to make a 'continue talking' button and invisible areas to click and get a small explaination of, then a sort of 'end' button. Oh and to keep the character that will be standing there animated until something is pushed XD I know the dynamics behind it - like make it a seperate layer until something is clicked....i just don't know the code!!

It's nothing too complicated but the tutorials I look at dont really give me what I need >m<

I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this? or could direct me to a tut or a person who could help me?
